Day 1: Departure

Welcome aboard, exciting tour to South America.

Your getaway to South America starts in Rio de Janeiro. On arrival, proceed to your hotel and check in on your own. Thereafter the day is free to explore the city on your own.

Overnight in Rio de Janeiro. (D)

Note:  The standard check-in time at the hotel is 1500 hrs.

Day 2

Visit statue of Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, Copacabana beach.

Today, we start our day by taking a cog-wheel train up to the Corcovado Mountain to visit the iconic statue of Christ the Redeemer. Later, proceed on a guided city tour of Rio, drive through downtown Rio, passing by the Maracana Stadium, the Sambodrome and Metropolitan Cathedral. Later in afternoon we visit the world famous Sugar Loaf Mountain which has become an iconic symbol of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Get a unique experience in the cable car while going up to the mountain. We also visit the famous Copacabana Beach and the downtown area.

In the evening you can opt for famous Samba Show at the Plataforma. Overnight in Rio de Janeiro. (B, D)

Day 3

Fly to Iguassu.

Today, we drive to airport to board your flight to Iguassu. Iguassu is famous for its stunning falls, a total of 275 waterfalls make up the Iguassu Falls, which are the widest and most imposing waterfalls on earth. Later you have some free time to explore the city on your own. Overnight in Iguassu. (B, D)

Day 4

Visit Iguassu Falls from Argentinean side.

Today, we visit the Argentinean side of the Iguassu Falls. We start with a short train ride that leads us to the trails. Later a walk along the catwalks, some 1200 meters over the islands, takes you to enjoy the most spectacular sight: the Devil’s Throat Fall.

Day 5

Visit Iguassu Falls from Brazilian Side.

Today, we take a trip to the Brazilian side of the falls. We walk along a narrow 1,500m. path and along with the catwalk that goes very close to the bottom of the Devil’s Throat, from where you will enjoy breathtaking views over the Brazilian side of the falls. Later, we take a flight to Lima – the capital of Peru.

Day 6

Guided tour of Lima

Today, we take you on a guided tour of Lima. See, the Love Park in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and Huaca Pucllana- ceremonial center of the Lima culture. Visit the Main Square where the Government Palace and the Town Hall are located. Also visit the Cathedral and explore the Santo Domingo Convent. Later you have some free time to explore the city on your own.

Day 7

Fly to Cusco – Archaeological Capital of the Americas.

Today, we take a flight to Cusco. On arrival, proceed on a guided city tour. Visit the famous Temple of Sun Korikancha – the most important temple in the Inca Empire. See the archaeological sites that date from Inca and the famous cathedral of Cusco. Later you have some free time at the Main Square.

Day 8

Visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World – Machu Picchu.

Today, proceed to visit one of the wonders of the world – Machu Picchu. You will start by a train going through the Urubamba Valley, the Sacred Valley of the Incas, to the fabulous mountaintop ruins of Machu Picchu. This city is an eye-tantalizing tribute to man in harmony with nature. Enjoy the full day in this magical place and later take a train back to Cusco.

Day 9

Fly to Buenos Aires. Enjoy an exciting Tango show with dinner.

Today, proceed to airport for your flight to Buenos Aires the capital of Argentina. On arrival, proceed to your hotel and check-in. Later in the evening you will be taken for the glamorous Tango Show with dinner – a musical extravaganza with poetical, entertaining and touching edges.

Day 10

Guided city tour of Buenos Aires.

Today, enjoy guided city tour of this beautiful city. See the symbol of the city: the obelisk on avenida 9 de Julio, visit Plaza de Mayo and Plaza San Martín. Drive through historical and elegant neighborhoods like La Boca, San Telmo, Montserrat, Palermo and Recoleta. We will also see financial and commercial areas and a Football Stadium. Later, evening is at leisure for shopping on your own.

Day 11

Fly to Ushuaia. Enjoy city tour of Ushuaia.

Today, proceed to airport for your flight to Ushuaia – resort town in Argentina & southernmost city in the world. On arrival, proceed to your hotel and check-in. Later, proceed on a guided city tour of Ushuaia. Visit Historical Buildings with their particular style and landscapes. Next, visit to Museo del Fin del Mundo (End of the World Museum).

Day 12

 

Enjoy Beagle Channel cruise & chance to take a ride on “End of the World Train”.

Today, proceed for Beagle Channel cruise. Admire views of the city of Ushuaia and islands in the channel that are home to colonies of sea lions and cormorants.  Later, you have a free time to enjoy this beautiful city on your own OR you can opt for a ride on “End of the World Train” from Ushuaia to the Tierra del Fuego National Park. Explore the remote wilderness of Patagonia’s southern tip. Enjoy spectacular views over the Beagle Channel as you take in highlights like Ensenada Bay, Laguna Verde, Beaver Dam and Lapataia Bay on this tour.

Day 13

 

Fly to El Calafate. Enjoy guided tour of El Calafate.

Today, proceed to airport for your flight to El Calafate. On arrival, proceed to your hotel and check-in. Later, proceed on a guided tour of old town, during which we drive past the early 20th-century buildings and homes built by the town’s first settlers, as well as the main plaza.

Day 14

 

Excursion to famous Perito Moreno Glacier.

Today, we set off to Perito Moreno, one of Patagonia’s most imposing and most visited glaciers, located in the UNESCO-listed Los Glaciares National Park. Admire the gigantic ice formation from different perspectives during the brisk hike along the surrounding catwalks. Later we take a boat ride between floating ice and marvel at the mighty ice walls and absolute beauty and grandeur of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Rest of the day is free for leisure or shopping.

Fly to Buenos Aires

Today, proceed to airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. On arrival, proceed to your hotel and check-in. Day is free for leisure or Shopping. Overnight in Buenos Aires. (B, D)

Today, proceed to the airport on your own as your memorable tour comes to an end. Please do spare a few moments of your valuable time to write and share with us your wonderful experience. (B)

  • Tour Manager Services will be subject to minimum of 25 full paying passengers travelling together.
  • In the event that the group size is between 12 – 25 passengers, tours & sightseeing will be operated on Private Basis conducted by our Local Representative.
  • In the event that the group size is less than of 12 passengers, tours & sightseeing will be conducted on Shared ( Seat in Coach) basis. Airport and restaurant transfers will be conducted on Private basis.
